Bayer Fosters Diversity in Its Supplier Base

Bayer is dedicated to building a workforce and supply base that reflects the diverse marketplace we serve. Our Responsible Procurement Program highlights our commitment to the economic growth of underrepresented communities by engaging small and diverse businesses, which enhance our supply chain's responsiveness and innovation.

Program Overview

The Bayer Responsible Procurement Program ensures fair access to procurement opportunities globally, actively seeking qualified businesses owned by individuals who face barriers to participation. This includes businesses majority-owned by women, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ individuals, minorities, and other underrepresented groups.

Supplier Development

The Bayer Momentum Supplier Development Program launched in 2025 to support the business growth and scalability of small, medium-sized, and diverse-owned suppliers working with Bayer. The program provides a structured curriculum covering key business areas including leadership, sales and marketing, economic outlook, innovation, financial management, operations, and process improvement through the lens of Bayer’s best practices. It incorporates interactive discussions and hands-on exercises to equip participants with the tools needed to strengthen their businesses and enhance their partnership with Bayer.
