The Nutrient Gap Initiative

Guided by our mission of “Health for all, Hunger for none,” Bayer's Nutrient Gap Initiative seeks to expand access to essential vitamins and minerals to 50 million people annually in underserved communities by 2030. This is a key step in combating malnutrition and nutrition insecurity.

Our HSE Governance

Responsibility for steering and monitoring health, safety and environmental protection (HSE) across the Group lies with the ESG department within the Public Affairs, Sustainability, and Safety enabling function. It establishes targets, key performance indicators and corporate policies, including HSE Management and HSE Key Requirements. HSE management systems are integrated into business processes across the Bayer Group, while operational implementation is carried out by the divisions. Regular policy reviews, internal audits and external certification help ensure that all sites continue to meet applicable requirements.
